The FireDTV and FloppyDTV by Digital Everywhere, are now also compatible with Mac OS X. The devices allow digital television to be watched on the pc through FireWire. 

On it's website, Digital Everywhere offers Elgato's EyeTV 3 software for usage with digital receivers. This requires a €59,95 payment, while the program normally costs €79,95.

On Windows the hardware can be used with atleast eight different packages, under which the standard FireDTV Viewer, Windows Media Center and the open-source Mediaportal.
