ECS releases modest P45 motherboard
ECS also releases a motherboard based on Intel's P45 chipset. Even though some manufacturers are going all out, ECS keeps her P45 board modest, which can be seen in the price as well. No extreme cooling, no 10 SATA connectors and no four Gigabit connectors this time.
The ECS P45T-A supports all Intel processors with an FSB of up to 1333 MHz, DDR2-800 memory and has two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots. The motherboard has six SATA II 3Gb/s connectors, one Gigabit Ethernet port and 7.1 channel audio. The passive cooling is relatively simple; there are no heatpipes present. In the P45T-A's BIOS you can configure a few things to overclock but don't expect any detailed options. The ECS P45T-A will be available from June.
