ECS launches an X48 motherboard as well
We informed earlier that ECS launched a new Intel P45 motherboard. Serving not only the mainstream market, but the high-end segment as well, ECS is releasing a high end Intel X48 motherboard. The ECS X48T-A is part of the the Black-Extreme series and is clearly designed for gamers. The board supports the latest Yorkfield and Wolfdale processors, a 1600 MHz FSB (QDR) and up to 8 GB DDR-1600.
The ECS X48T-A features two PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots and obviously supports ATI CrossfireX. Six SATA ports are connected to Intel's ICH9R southbridge, an extra JMicron controller allows an eSATA port on the I/O panel. Also present on the board are two Gbit LAN controllers and an 8-channel Realtek HD audio codec.
Recommended prices are still unknown. Full specifications of the X48T-A motherboard can be found here.
